We've solved the problem for mounting accessories in the engine bay.  This aluminum plate mounts easily using the two factory hood hinge bolts and has been designed to fit an open void in the engine bay.  The plate has been designed to accept many accessories.
 
In our custom builds, we use this accessory plate to run positive battery power to the engine bay utilizing both postive and negative bus bars, a heavy duty selector swtich for the WARN winch, battery maintainer and sPOD's Source LT.
